Key Club is a nationally organized community service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. The Key Club at Hamilton is sponsored by Hilary Johannes, and it offers students the opportunity to serve the community around them in a variety of ways.
Activities include:
Reading to elementary students
Volunteering at the Phoenix Zoo
Adopting a family during the holidays
Participating in the Relay for Life, an overnight fundraiser for cancer research
Attending the Key Club convention in Tucson in the Spring
Meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month during conference hour in room E219. The Key Club is sponsored by Kiwanis International, and there are yearly dues collected and sent to this parent organization. Once the student is a paid member of Key Club they can apply for scholarships and leadership opportunities offered by Kiwanis.
