Relay for Life
The Student Council as well as several other clubs at Hamilton High School will be participating in the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. This event is an all-night walk in Tumbleweed Park beginning at 6 P.M. May 6th and continuing until 6 A.M. May 7th. The slogan for the Relay for Life is that “Cancer Never Sleeps and Neither Do We.” The walkway will be lined with luminaries marked in honor or in memory of a cancer patient. If you would like to purchase a luminary for $10.00 or if you would like to make a donation to the American Cancer Society through Hamilton’s Stugo, please bring your cash or check to the front desk at Hamilton.
Grad Night
The Hamilton Student Council made a $1,000 donation to the Grad Night Committee in order to help them plan the best Grad Night party ever.
Prom
The Hamilton High School Prom will be held from 8pm-12am on the evening of Saturday, May 20th, 2006, at the Arizona Science Center in historic Downtown Phoenix near Heritage Square. The museum is located at:

The theme for the evening is “Starlit Fantasy.” It will feature a band on the upper terrace and a DJ in the entryway of the museum. There will be many exhibits to see and walk through. Plus, there will also be planetarium shows featuring a ride through the stars.
Tickets will be $25.00 per person and $50.00 for a couple. Tickets will be available at the bookstore in late April. Duke Photography will handle the photography. Photography package information and prices will also be available at the bookstore when tickets go on sale.
Donation
The Student Council on behalf of the student body has given Chelsea Gaarder a CD Player and several CD’S and DVD’s. Chelsea is hospitalized as a result of a severe car accident over Spring Break. Get Well Chelsea!!
Community Service Opportunity Steinmart (Alma/Queen Creek) is looking for student volunteers to wrap Mother’s Day gifts in 2 hour blocks on May 6, 7, and 13. The patrons will be asked to make donations that go to “Dignity Aware”, the non-profit company Steinmart sponsors. This group gives away new clothes to families in need.
