 Melt Away

As fears and lies come pouring in,
And obvious events are about to begin,
You wonder if you will ever see clearly again.

Darkness comes to engulf your very being
And then quite suddenly without much meaning,
The fears and lies go on unseeing.

They destroy everything in their wake,
They go on and on despite the living's sake,
Go on and on through lives they're willing to take.

No one can see through the fears and lies,
That bundles up in the deep blue skies,
Yet not a soul stops to ask why.

However, there is a sliver of light making dark sway,
It gives few people hope that maybe one day,
All of these darkened fears and lies will just-
Melt Away...
