The individual student must sign up in E-105a.
Students who sign up for the LIFT Lab are required to stay the entire four hour block. If a student completes his/her class during intercession, the student may wish to stop coming to the LIFT Lab during intercession or begin work on their next class.
LIFT LAB INFORMATION
The Learning Instills Fundamentals Today (LIFT) Lab services students that fall into one or more of the following categories:
Are behind in credits and have fallen off of the graduation track
That transferred from other schools after the cut-off date to receive credit
The LIFT Lab is a credit recovery, computer based education program that is offered at Hamilton High School. The lab designed to aide students that have fallen behind on core class credits needed for graduation (22 required). The lab is offered as a regular class period or as a after school - night school option.
Each student will be assigned to one or two computer-based classes. Students will be assigned to a credit recovery course that will help them get back on track for graduation. All of our courses are aligned to the state and district standards. The Anywhere Learning System (ALS) meets the requirements of CUSD. As they earn credits, students will transition back into the regular classroom setting.
Grades for the LIFT Lab DO NOT appear on report cards and/or progress reports. They are placed directly onto the students transcripts when they complete their "exit paperwork." Exit paperwork MUST BE FILLED OUT by the student once he/she finishes their LIFT Lab class in order to receive credit.
