Diploma in nursing from Lutheran General and Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing and Northwestern University in Park Ridge and Evanston, Illinois, respectively. Certification in school nursing from Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona.
I have worked in many nursing diciplines before joining the staff at HHS. Some of the areas have been in Surgery, Recovery Room, Orthopedics, Cardiac Catherization Lab, Hyperbarics, Rehabilitation, and Search and Rescue. The most rewarding and fun job was the oppertunity of being the school nurse at a high school in Tucson, Arizona, for the last fourteen years.
I enjoy travelling anywhere, anytime. I also enjoy snow skiing, hiking, camping and anything that involves the outdoors. My family is my most precious treasure.
Philosophy: Life is a journey full of choices, experiences and new beginnings. My goal is to provide information and guidance that will enable the students to lead healthy lives as they walk a pathway into their future.
